Aria and I met when we were both getting started in our creative pursuits—me photography, and her acting. Since the time we met, however, we only did one photoshoot as work and life consumed us. Plans for a second shoot were met with delays and promises of "next time."
Fortunately, "next time" happened over the weekend. After rescheduling each other for a good 1 to 2 years, we magically stumbled upon a date that worked for the both of us, and our styles complemented each other. I am a casual photographer, preferring candid and natural shots without the extra setup of lights, hunky lenses, and more lights. She was looking for an "athleisure" look, an outfit that combined casual fashion, athleticism, and most importantly comfort into the style.
I felt that the Arts District was perfect for this style, so we met up and the shoot began! Since Aria is an actress, modeling is second nature to her. See below for some of my favorites from the shoot:
The featured photos are only a fraction of how many we took! After our session, I had over 200 photos to sift through, so narrowing this post's selection to about 15 (or less) is tiring enough.
Regardless, hope you enjoyed the selection. I have a couple more photoshoots penciled in for the rest of the spring, so hopefully there will be an abundance of posts (and images) to come in the near future.
